S&P week after Christmas

I noted before that there was a tendency that if the S&P made a 52 week high in the week before Christmas, it has made new highs the following week.  I did a quick look at the percent change from the close day before Christmas to the close the day before New Years.  Although there is a tendency to rise, in recent years it has become more volatile, and less likely to rise:
